Legacy Film Series' Second Annual Older Adult Film Festival
As part of its two-month long FreudFEst program, the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco hosted the Legacy Film Series' Second Annual Older Adult Film Festival.
Sheila Malkind presented several entertaining short films that celebrated older adults and their accomplishments. The subjects centered on therapy, relationships, health, life/death, creativity and passion. Through this Freudian lens, viewers were encouraged to continue to use all their potential no matter what their age is. The two hour program included a post-screening discussion by the audience of how the films related to their own lives.
